UK Retail giant GAME has revealed the results of their poll to find the top 100 video games of all time. Over 100,000 votes were cast with the results throwing up a mixed bag of both timeless classics and modern masterpieces. The results show the current popularity of first person shooters as they take up five of the games in the top ten. Another notable result*is Shenmue coming in at number 25 showing that the series is still in many gamers minds despite SEGA’s reluctance to complete the trilogy. Other classics include*ICO at a far too low 100, followed by Shadow Of The Colossus in 92nd and Space Invaders original arcade version coming in at number 46. PlayStation 2 takes the console crown having the most games from one individual console in the list. Final Fantasy VII being the most voted for game on the system coming in at number 3.

Some laughable inclusions in the list include Wii Fit coming in a at number 29 and what is widely regarded as being one of the worst versions of Pro Evo (Pro Evo 6) coming in at* number 44.
